A logo on a leather gift should look as if it belongs there. The right branding method depends on your logo, the leather and how visible you want the brand to be. These are the options POZA offers, and when to use each one.

  • POZA logo blind-debossed on black leatherBlind debossing
  • Gold foil POZA logo on a tan leather key chainFoil stamping
  • Brass POZA logo plate on a burgundy leather bagMetal logo plate
  • POZA branded kraft gift boxesBranded packaging

Blind debossing

The logo is pressed into the leather with heat and pressure, without any colour. The result is subtle and elegant, and it lasts as long as the leather. It works best on smooth, firm leathers; on a heavily textured grain the impression is softer.

Good for: wallets, card holders, folders and premium gifts where discretion matters.

Foil stamping

Gold, silver or coloured foil is pressed into the leather with heat. It catches the light and gives the logo colour, which helps brand recognition. Foil is sharpest on smooth surfaces.

Good for: key chains, card holders, folders and festive gift sets.

Printing

The logo is printed in one or more colours. Printing suits multi-colour logos and details that are too fine to deboss.

Good for: multi-colour logos, pouches and printed linings.

Branded hardware

Metal logo plates, branded zip pulls, buckles and rivets give a finished, retail look. They suit larger pieces, where a plate has room to sit well.

Good for: laptop bags, backpacks, duffle bags and totes.

Custom linings and packaging

A printed lining, a branded dust bag or a rigid box with your logo carries the brand even when the product itself must stay plain, or is too small for a visible mark.

Getting the best result

  • Send a vector logo file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG). It keeps the edges sharp at any size.
  • Keep it simple for debossing. Very fine lines and small text lose clarity when pressed into leather. A simplified one-colour version of your logo usually works best.
  • Size the logo to the product. A logo that fills a wallet looks loud. A small mark near a corner looks premium.
  • Approve the mock-up and the sample. Every POZA order starts with a digital mock-up and a physical sample, so you see the real impression on the real leather before bulk production.
